The youngest franchise in the league has a satisfying season.
Phoenix/Barako managed to finished with a respectable showing with what they have. They almost beat every team but missing out on the top 2 teams of this season is not that bad. The Governors' Cup is there most memorable run because of an import that was able to carry them. They better sign him up already for next season.
Three-point shooting has been their bread and butter this season. Getting 21 out of the maximum 33 points is a great accomplishment. The interesting thing about their shooting was their efficiency that never move out of the 33%. If they can increase that next season, Phoenix can reach deeper in the playoffs.
The future of the Fuel Masters is currently in the shoulders of Torres and Enciso. Both exhibited bright potential, specially with their ability to hit from the outside. If the two can improve on the defensive end and sustain their growth in the offensive end, future is very bright.
JC Intal and Joshua Urbiztondo were reliable this season but they could have been better.
