We are down to a best of five but what we saw in the first two games will have a big effect on what will happen in the next games.
If you haven't notice, Meralco was the team who exhibited Never Say Die spirit in the first two games. The biggest reason for that was their unending diligence and hustle in both games as shown by their 2nd chance points. On the other hand, Ginebra dominated inside. LA Tenorio has been very aggressive attacking the rim and that set the pace for his team.
PREDICTION Although it felt like Ginebra was the clear better team in game 2, Meralco was able to push it down to the wire. I will not be shock if Coach Tim will make more adjustments than Coach Norman. One simple adjustment that Coach Norman can do is to give more minutes to Caram because of his defense and to Faundo so that they can utilize his sharp midrange jumper.
On the other hand, Japeth Aguilar and Scottie Thompson may get more opportunities in game 3. Coach Tim usually do that in a series, give plays and ask players who are struggling to be more aggressive.
The biggest difference maker will be the three-point shooting. Remember, Meralco won one of their semifinals game because of a hot streak from the outside. And, I can see them winning this one because of their three-point shooting.
